location, location, location

Hello lovelies,

I had a busy week this week assisting on various shoots for Now Magazine - starting with a studio shoot in London, then off to Kent for a bit of retro glamour, finishing on the beach in Rye where sun was shining to give us the perfect Miami feel.

I'm in the process of researching more locations today, and thought I'd do a quick post of some of the coolest locations I've seen these past few years.

Oh the memories!
Every single picture brings them flooding back. Apart from the hard work crafting the perfect picture, it's been great to meet all the creative people I've had the opportunity of working with.

Choosing the right location is so important, perhaps THE most important choice you can make. It's the foundation for the final product.

I hope there are many more to come! What's your favourite, I wonder?

Have a lovely evening everyone... and come on England!

D.I.Y Friday - studded Converse

Do you all feel the same? Is it June or what? I might not work at the Met Office, but this is officially the worst summer weather ever!

Thankfully I've got a trip to Poland to visit my parents (where is almost 30 degrees) to look forward. And I can't wait to get a taste of Euro 2012 - which starts today , btw. Super exciting- and I'm not a big fan of football at all.

As flip flops, sandals and any other open shoes are basically a no-no at the moment, I've decided to pimp up my old Converse trainers.

Everyone is going 'stud crazy' at the moment, and I'm powerless to resist.

You can get your hands on some studs through Ebay and they're super cheap.

For now, I've only studded the back of my trainers...but now I've started, I'm not sure I can stop! I've totally caught the stud bug.

All you need is a pair of scissors to make little holes wherever you want the studs to go, then use the backing screws to fasten them in place.

Be careful with the scissors though. I actually needed to use my first aid kit yesterday- not so glamorous.

And just 15 mins later...voila! My new Converse trainers never looked so good.

What do you think?

Lots of Love xxx

a psychedelic print shirt by Joyrich

Hello y'all!
How is everyone feeling after a long and boozy weekend of Jubilee celebrations
I've had a fab few days with friends and family (check it out here) full of amazing food, lots of laughter, union jack flags and bubbles, of course.

The best news is the sun is out again, so I've decided to rock my Joyrich shirt which I purchased in LA a month ago.
The fab suede tasselled shorts are from River Island (in store now), and the oversized clutch - a super hot accessory this season- is from Dorothy Perkins.
Unfortunately, I bought the bag years ago, but there should be lots of similar looking ones available in the shops
(you can't blame the girl for being ahead of the fashion curve!) .
As for the heels, they're from Primark - again from about 3 seasons ago when they were only £8!
Everything studded is super hot right now - so even though they're old, these Primark beauties are still bang on trend.
Now that's what I call a worthwhile investment!

Have a lovely and sunny week!

Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

It's the long awaited Jubilee Weekend.
We are all super excited here and I've been practising my patriotic face since Monday (even though I'm not British), I literally cannot wait!

For me, the celebrations start for real tomorrow morning, with a proper Bellini breakfast curled up in bed with hubby, followed by an amazing Jubilee dinner party.
I've been planning my outfits for every day of the long bank holiday; all red, white and blue - obviously.

London looks diamond (as is befitting 60 years on the throne)! I stopped by Selfridges yesterday and their window displays didn't disappoint. If you get a chance, go check them out for yourself...and don't forget a royal fly by of Regent Street too.

Well, have a fabulous weekend, y'all!  And God Save The Queen!

Right...is it Pimms o'clock yet?
