today's outfit

Spring is in the air!
Time to dust off the warm weather wardrobe and show a bit of skin!
Today I teamed my favourite Miss Selfridge skirt with a super cool tank from LA label Spiritual Gangster. And of course there is always an excuse to pep it all up with some
neon accessories.
Enjoy the sun girlies! xx

nostalgic for the nineties

A few weeks ago I had the fantastic opportunity to work with a lovely bunch of people on a studio shoot. It was a long but creative day and we all clicked really well. The photographer was Dan Korkelia dankorkelia.com with hair and make up by Donna Harris themake-updarling.blogspot.co.uk. Styling was of course by moi
The aim was to emulate the classic 90s look – very Cindy Crawford -  sexy but sophisticated. Our beautiful model, Zara, suited this style perfectly.
Hope you like it! x

Sofia Coppola and Imogen Poots

I've loved Sofia’s work for ages; Lost in Translation is one of my favourite movies of all time. She always captures the feel of a place just perfectly and takes you with her for a journey.
The Marni for H&M video, which she directed, is captivating, dreamy and so beautiful.
Set in Marrakesh to Bryan Ferry’s Avalon the mini movie is a sensual story between stunning actress Imogen Poots and her handsome lover.
I’m obsessed with it; the song, the feel, the photography and of course the clothes!
Just Amazing!

the many faces of Miami

I spent my last summer holiday in Miami. What a vibrant city. I’m not surprised that designers all over the world have been inspired by the city’s architecture, style, colours and general passion.

I’ve chosen some key trends for SS12, all of which seem influenced by different districts of this always-sunny corner of America.

Which one is your favourite? I HAVE to go with the scarf- prints, but pastels are a close second :-)
